LOGAN, UT (RNN) – The Mississippi State Bulldogs have their first road loss of the 2013 season, falling to the Utah State Aggies 87-68 on Saturday.

The Aggies (4-0) had three players score in double digits and never fell behind of the Bulldogs (3-0) in the game.

Mississippi State had four players score in double figures, led by forward Gavin Ware with 19 points. Ware also had 10 of the Bulldogs' 23 rebounds. Forward Colin Borchert added 15 points to the losing effort.

The Aggies' leading scorer was guard Preston Medlin, with 21 points and six assists.

The Bulldogs were out-rebounded 41-23 and only made 5-of-16 3-pointers, compared to the Aggies' completing 11-of-23 from downtown.

Mississippi State returns home for their next game against the Jackson State Tigers on Wednesday.
