WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSFA) -

United States Representative Mike Rogers (R-Dist. 3) is taking part in Auburn's tradition of rolling trees with toilet paper after a big athletic win, even though he's a thousand miles from Toomer's Corner.

Rep. Rogers posted a photo of himself rolling a small tree Tuesday with a message saying "War Eagle from the Toomer's Oak here on the Capitol lawn!"

The No. 3 Auburn Tigers (11-1) beat the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in a historic Iron Bowl last Saturday night.

They're now preparing for the SEC Championship game against No. 5 Missouri (11-1) in Atlanta this weekend.

Rogers graduated from Jacksonville State University and has served Alabama's 3rd District in the U.S. House since 2002. The district covers a large portion of Eastern Alabama including Auburn and Opelika.
