Opelika Police need your help identifying credit card theft suspect

The Opelika Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a woman believed to be involved in a credit card theft.

On November 16, the Opelika Police Department received a report for theft that occurred in the Tiger Town shopping center. The victim realized that her wallet was missing sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. while shopping.

According to the victim, her wallet contained personal identification, several credit and debit cards, her checkbook, and approximately $100 in cash. Investigation revealed the victim's cards were used to make several purchases at various stores in the Tiger Town area.           

The attached photograph depicts a black female suspect who is believed to have used one of the victim's credit cards at Kinnucan's at approximately 5:05 p.m. to purchase a pair of Ugg boots. The suspect was in the company of another black female adult and three juveniles.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is encouraged to contact the Opelika Police Department Investigative Services Division at (334) 705-5220. If they wish to remain anonymous they may call the Secret Witness Hotline at (334) 745-8665.
