One dead after being pulled from house fire

(WMC-TV) - One person died after a house fire in Raleigh Monday.

The Memphis Fire Department pulled the victim from the fire at 3042 Laurencekirk Road. Fire officials say the victim was found on the second story of the home in a bedroom.

Memphis Animal Shelter had to resuscitate one dog.

The fire remains under investigation.
