(WMC-TV) - A 13-year-old boy, who was taken too soon, was remembered Saturday afternoon.

Hezekiah Keyon Moss was killed by a man accused of driving drunk last week. Saturday, those struggling to cope with his death celebrated his life.

Moss was a young man who touched a lot of hearts during his short life.

"I loved Keyon a whole lot," said his cousin, Isaiah Johnson. "He inspired me."

Moss' friends and family say he was one of a kind.

"I don't know no other young man like Keyon. 'Cause he was real anointed, he didn't follow the crowd, he was just himself," said Moss' cousin, Frederick Johnson. "I loved him a whole lot."

"Keyon loved to praise and worship," said Delores Jones.

The young man also loved basketball, video games, and had a bright future in music.

"He loved music, was on his way to be what I believe one of the greatest organists. He loved to make you laugh and cheer you up he loved the church," said Moss' uncle, Linwood Dillard.

While it is hard to say goodbye, those who knew him best know he is in a better place.
