Man indicted in deadly wrong-way crash

(WMC-TV) - A Bartlett man was killed in a wrong-way crash on the I-40 ramp leading to I-240 southbound in June. Now, a Memphis man was indicted in his death.

Andrae Willis, 35, is charged with vehicular homicide involving alcohol and recklessness, as well as DUI.

Robert James Toon, 37, was driving on the ramp around 5:30 a.m. on June 30 when he was hit head-on by Willis. Toon was pronounced dead on the scene. Willis was unconscious when he was pulled from his vehicle. He recovered at a local hospital.

Willis is free on a $40,000 bond.
