COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Each year, the Deimel Legacy Ball takes place in Columbus, Ga. to raise tuition assistance and curriculum enhancement for students at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School. The fundraiser provides an opportunity for some families who otherwise would not be able to afford the tuition to send their children to private school.

This year's black tie optional event is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2014, at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. Reservations are $75 per person.

Most Reverend Gregory J. Hartmayer, OFM Conv., Bishop of the Diocese of Savannah, will be hosting the event, which is sponsored by parishes in the Columbus area.

The evening will feature cocktails, dinner, and dancing, with music provided by The 10:30 Band.

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact St. Anne Catholic Church's Parish Office at (706) 561-8678.
