(WMC-TV) – Friday night was one to remember for an Arlington High School student who was honored on the homecoming court.

Olivia Aldrich has Down syndrome, and is a junior at the school. She participates in the school's big buddy program.

Livi was voted onto the homecoming court by her fellow students this week and was honored at the basketball game Friday night.

Livi's friend Carlie Carter said, "We had, we sold 60 T-shirts in about four days. It's the best feeling in the world, can't think of anyone in the world that deserves it more than her."

She is only a junior at the school, which means she was a princess on the court. She is eligible to be crowned as the homecoming queen next year.

Livi had a huge crowd there cheering for her.
