Dogs on interstate cause 2-vehicle crash

Posted: Updated:

(WMC-TV) – Action News 5 was on the scene of a late night crash that was apparently caused by drivers trying to avoid dogs on Interstate 40 near Highway 51.

The crash happened near the exit to Highway 51 and left a Ford Mustang on its side.

Investigators say the driver of the Mustang slowed down because some dogs were in the road. The driver of a Ford Explorer swerved to miss the same dogs and hit the Mustang.

No one was hurt in this accident.
