Maplesville man killed in icy road crash

CLANTON, AL (WSFA) -

A Maplesville man died Thursday following a three-vehicle crash on an icy road near Clanton, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Will "Jim" Latham, 87, was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving collided with another vehicle around 1:40 p.m. on Alabama 22. That's approximately three miles west of Clanton.

Troopers say a third vehicle was involved in the crash and was damaged.

There were no other injuries reported.

No other details were released pending a completed investigation by State Troopers.
