(WMC-TV) - The Grizzlies ended the first portion of the 2013-14 season down three starters, as Mike Conley, Tony Allen and Marc Gasol were all injured as the break hit.
Coming back from the All-Star Break, Mike Conley said his ankle injury is as healed as it's going to get. Conley will play Tuesday night against the New York Knicks.
Marc Gasol tweaked the same left knee he injured earlier in the year. That injury caused him to miss 23 games, this one might not cause any issues. Gasol's MRI came back clean Monday and he was running and jumping well at practice.
Tony Allen missed 20 games with a right wrist injury. Allen had his first full-contact practice today, and hopes to get slapped on the wrist (literally) to test if he can play Tuesday night. Allen was catching, shooting and passing with his wrist. Allen is a game-time decision Tuesday.
