Holly Bobo's family seeks closure despite unanswered questions

(WMC-TV) - Holly Bobo's family and friends are trying to find closure, while so many questions about the 20-year-old nursing student's disappearance remain unanswered.

Despite Zachary Adams being charged with the kidnapping and murder of Holly Bobo, her family is still hopeful.

"You can't give up hope, you can't give up hope, even now," said Holly's great-uncle, Frank Pratt.

Pink ribbons line the streets and roadways in Decatur County, Tenn. On the approach to Holly's house, every mailbox reminds drivers of what the Bobo family's mission has been for the last three years.

"When it gets faded out, we change it and put a new one on," said Pratt about the ribbons that decorate the community.

The announcement about Adams' murder arrest was not the news they had hoped for all these years.

"I don't believe they can ever find any closure if they don't find the body," he said.

Pratt remembers searching for Holly three years ago, hoping and praying she would be found safe. Still, he says, the family is held up by community support and prayers. Support that can be felt the moment you step foot in Parsons, Tenn.

"We'll keep praying for the Bobos and everything, we pray for strength, that they can get through this. It's a hard time for everyone," said Lauren Hays, who plays softball in Parsons. "You're looking for closure and you're not really wanting the word murder out of it."

Zach Adams, the man accused of killing Holly, sits in jail without bond.
