(WMC-TV) - It's been a season of learning for the youthful University of Memphis Women's basketball team.

But their effort has Not gone unnoticed.

Sophomore guard Ariel Hearn is named to the AAC's first team All-Conference, while freshmen Breigha Wilder-Cochran and Mooriah Rowser are named to the Leagues' all-freshman team.

Hearn currently ranks third in the American Athletic Conference with 17.5 points a game.

The Arlington product also ranks top 10 in assists, steals, three point percentage, and three pointers made.

Wilder-Cochran set the Memphis freshman single season assist record with 122 assists and ranks second on the team in steals.

Rowser ranks as one of the Tigers' top three scorers.

Memphis is in Uncasville, Connecticut for the AAC tournament.

The 7th seed Tigers face Houston, Friday in the first round.
