The streak of beautiful conditions will continue on Monday after clear skies let temperatures drop into the lower 40s in the Upstate and mid-30s for western North Carolina.
Our work week will start off with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climb into the mid-70s by mid-day. In the mountains, we will see temperatures peak in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies as well.
Winds will be mainly out of the west and northwest across the region between 5 and 15 mph. Gusts of wind can pick up to about 20 mph at times, making Monday a bit breezy.
Sunny skies will continue into Tuesday with temperatures once again hitting the mid-70s in the Upstate and hovering right around 70 degrees in western North Carolina.
A cold front will bring rain for Wednesday and lower temperatures back below normal for the remainder of the work week.
