Company holds job fair to hire hundreds of Mid-Southerners

(WMC-TV) – Less than two months after making a major jobs announcement for the Mid-South, the company opening a large call center in Memphis is now ready to hire staff.

That company is Conduit Global which builds and staffs call centers for other companies.

Action News 5 was there in January when Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam announced Conduit would open a 1,000 seat call center at Goodlett Farms Office Park in East Memphis.

The company will hold a job fair for several positions, from call center agents all the way up to managers, Tuesday, March 18.

Conduit needs to hire 200 people right away and will soon be hiring another 100 people.

If you're interested, bring your resume and be prepared for an interview.

Tuesday's recruiting fair is from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Cook Convention Center in Downtown Memphis.

Conduit Global plans to eventually hire 1,000 people to staff its call center in Memphis.
