(WMC-TV) - Residents in a Memphis neighborhood say they have been watching debris left on the side of their road. People living near the intersection of Southern Avenue and Haynes Street have seen enough of it.

Joyce Danner spends most evenings out in her yard keeping it nice and tidy. She says the stacked tires in her neighborhood are ridiculous.

Her neighbor, who did not want to give her name, says she watched the tires get stacked up. She says the people who stacked up the tires own a vacant house. In the past it has been trash with debris, but this time, they say, they had to speak up.

"Kids like to play and touch things. I don't want those kids to walk out there and touch something that jumps out on them," said Danner.

Residents say, additionally, it is unsightly.
