Homeowner shot suspect during home invasion, police say

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Memphis police were called to a home invasion in the 3200 block of Cookie Cove, near Scottsdale Avenue and South Mendenhall Road, around 12:45 Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, the homeowner shot one of the two suspects. The injured suspect ended up at a fire station in the 3300 block of South Mendenhall Road.

The suspect was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Police do not have any information on the second suspect.
