MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – A Memphis Fedex employee, charged with stealing from customers, is expected to go before a judge Tuesday.

Police say 19-yearold Reubin Jefferson admitted he took a $20,000 diamond bracelet out of a package on February 2. Jefferson pawned the bracelet the next day, Feb. 3, according to the affidavit.

During the investigation agents with the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement learned that Jefferson had pawned several items in the past at the Advantage Pawn Shop in the 1500 block of East Shelby Drive. The bracelet was recovered from the pawn shop by investigators.

Jefferson is charged with theft of property over $10,000 and is due in court Tuesday morning.
