MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A popular Frayser nightclub has been shut down after a two year undercover investigation.

Shelby County District Attorney Amy Weirich says the investigation was related to marijuana trafficking, gambling, gang activity and illegal alcohol sales at Club On Time, located in the 2900 block of Overton Crossing Street.

Memphis police shut the club down Saturday night and the owner and operator, Shasta Taylor, was served with the court order closing the establishment.

The club will remain closed until a hearing in Environmental Court on Wednesday.
