(WMC) – Two suspected kidnappers sought in nationwide Amber Alert were captured in Sylvester, Georgia just after midnight on Thursday.

34-year-old Donald Harris and 31-year-old Allison Studdard and Maliah were traveling in a 2002 Pontiac Aztec.

Sylvester Police officials say an SPD officer pulled over the vehicle on Highway 82 in Sylvester.

Authorities had been searching for 2-year old Maliah Harris after she disappeared from Lowndes County, Mississippi early Wednesday morning along with her parents after her 7-month old sister Alyssa was found dead.

Officials say an autopsy will be performed Wednesday afternoon in Jackson, MS.

The siblings' grandfather discovered Alyssa's body about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and called 911 and the parents left with the 2-year-old girl.

Police say the 2-year-old is safe and the Harris and Studdard are being questioned.

Harris has connections to Cook County. Law enforcers around South Georgia had been on high alert looking for the vehicle.

This is a developing story.
