MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC) – The men accused of growing large amounts of marijuana inside a North Memphis home are due in court on Monday.

It was so much marijuana that WMC Action News 5 cameras caught it bursting out the doors of the home.

The bust happened in the 3900 block of Plymouth Avenue on Friday.

Yosvani Gonzalez, Fermin Fortun Monteagudo, and Gil Rodriguez are all behind bars; each are being held on a $3 million bond.

Police found 178 pounds of loose marijuana, 148 potted plants and $400 in cash.

One neighbor WMC Action News 5 spoke with didn't want to show his face on camera, but said it was quite a struggle for officers to remove all the marijuana.

The trio is also accused of running an elaborate lighting system by stealing utilities from MLGW to power the house.

The three men were in court on Monday morning. Their cases were reset to May 27 to give them time to get an attorney.
