WAKE FOREST, NC (WCSC/AP) - Bounce Charleston will air the public memorial service for Maya Angelou on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon.

The renowned author, poet and director passed away on May 28 at age 86. The service will be broadcast live from Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Former President Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey are joining First Lady Michelle Obama at the service. Obama is expected to deliver remarks.

Children's programming regularly scheduled during that time on Bounce Charleston will instead air from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday. The affected children's programs are "Culture Click," "Animal Atlas" and "Safari Tracks."
Bounce Charleston can be found over the air on WCSC digital channel 5.3. It is also carried on Comcast channel 213 and Home channel 113.
