MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC) - On Sunday afternoon, Ben Crane took home the trophy as the winner of the FedEx St. Jude Classic.

Luckily, the weather was not as bad on Seersucker Sunday.

Crane faced plenty of challengers, and won by a stroke. He had some hurdles to overcome, but in the end came out in first place.

"If someone said, I can finish 30th this week, would you take it, and I'd be like all day! I'll take that and run. So first place is amazing to get my fifth victory on your. Praise God," said Crane.

This is the first PGA Tour title for Crane since 2011, despite closing with a 3-over 73.

On the last day of the tournament, Crane played 30 holes at TPC Southwind because of rain delays. Ending with a 270 total, Crane finished the last 12 holes of his third round, leading by three shots as he entered the final round.

Crane two-putted for bogey on the final hole to win, and took home more than $1 million.
