(WMC) - A steady stream of NBA prospects continues to grace the FedExForum floor, in prep for the June 26th NBA draft.
The latest workout, included a pair of UCLA sophomores and another Tarheel.
The Grizzlies held their 6th pre-draft workout Friday, welcoming former Bruins, guard Jordan Adams and Forward Kyle Anderson, along with forward James Michael McAdoo out of North Carolina.
Anderson is an intriguing prospect.
A lanky 6'9," Anderson was the primary ball handler for UCLA, but he could play either shooting guard or small forward position in the league.
He started 36 games at point last year for the Bruins, averaging 14.6 points and nearly 9 rebounds a game.
"I think I could play pretty much any position in the NBA," Anderson said. "Except the 5, any of the other 4 positions I think I'll be able to play of not now, especially down the line as I get bigger and stronger."
Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger added, "He's probably looked better in a 5 on 5 situation. With his skill set being able to pass, dribble and play with others. He's really intriguing, as far as a guy you gonna play him at 3 or 4. But he can bring the ball up and play like a point guard. Very interesting prospect."
The Grizzlies have one more workout scheduled before next Thursday's draft.
