(WMC) - Player Profile:
Glenn Robinson III
University of Michigan
6-foot-7, 211 pounds
Draft Range (Compilation of 6 ESPN, Draft Express, CBSSports, and NBADraftNet mock drafts):
Mock Drafts Projecting to Grizzlies: 0/6
Take him: He fits position need and plays solid perimeter defense. His length (6-foot-10 wingspan) is good for a small forward.
Don't take him: Robinson doesn't really stand out. He was a fourth or fifth option on a talented Michigan team in 2012-13, and only a second option on the 2013-14 version because Mitch McGary was injured. Not a shooter.
Notes: Worked out with the Grizzlies. Son of Bucks legend Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson. Played with a lot of NBA talent including Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway, Jr., Nik Stauskas and Mitch McGary. Played for perimeter-oriented coach (John Belein) but is not a shooter.
UPDATE: Glenn Robinson III will come to Memphis for a second workout.
