MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC) - The mother charged with first-degree murder in her 7-week-old daughter's death reported to court Friday morning wearing a new suit.

Aniston Walker was found in a ditch 11 miles from her home in Millington six weeks after she went missing. The medical examiner says intentional violence was the cause of death.

Andrea Walker's attorney, Leslie Ballin, says he's waiting for the discovery files from the prosecutor so they can move forward.

"If you take the type of charge [...]  there's a lot of discovery information, plus you add in to the type if charges, the unique nature of it, I anticipate it be even more," said Ballin. "We have a serious charge placed against us. We have a hard task before us, but we're up to the task."

Walker stood by as Ballin spoke on her behalf describing what this ordeal has been like for the accused mother.

"To be accused of something, then have that exacerbated by the important fact that she's not guilty of what she's accused of," he said. "I cannot anticipate, understand, begin to dream of the type of stress that she's under."
