(WMC) - A Frayser family is living in fear after bullets recently riddled their house. They are hoping they get can get some help to make some change.

Early Sunday morning is when Reginald Johnson got a rude awakening.

"We heard gunshots. And when we hear them, we get up and lock our doors," he said.

But this time was different. This time the target appeared to be his Frayser home.

"I got up and ran toward the hall and saw that it went through the wall and told my wife to get down," said Johnson. "And that's when I seen all the dust in the hall and called police, called 911."

According to Johnson, police found as many as 14 casings in the street, but only two bullets hit his home.

"It came through the bedroom window, through the wall, through the hall wall and into the kitchen somewhere," he said.

It is the same kitchen Johnson had been standing in earlier that night; even worse—Johnson says his grandchildren were over early Saturday night, playing video games in the front room.

Police have no suspect description and Johnson doesn't know why his home was targeted. While his sense of security is shaken, he's grateful the bullets did not hit anyone.

"The shots were like the height of me, and if I'd have been standing up or walking through the hall, I could have got killed," he said.
