(WMC) – A standout White Station Middle School student scored a perfect score on his Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) exam.

The rising seventh grader, Gabriel Geiser, knows the feeling of being the smartest kid in his school.

"It's basically just hard work and staying on task," Geiser said.

Geiser was ahead of his tasks and scored a perfect 900 on both his math and reading TCAP tests this year.

"I just paid attention in class, and I had really good teachers here at White Station," Geiser said.

He's excited about moving forward to the seventh grade this fall. In the meantime he's spending his summer getting stronger in his favorite sport.

"I do jujitsu. So I go to jujitsu like 14 hours a week," Geiser said.

This junior high school student already has high hopes for his future with plans to attend Harvard University once he graduates.

"I want to be a video game designer producer, because that involves a lot of math, and it gets a lot of money," Geiser added.

Geiser knows acing these standardized tests will help in the future. He knows many students have a hard time with the test and for these students Geiser has this advice.

"It's a hard test, and if you don't do well, you just have to set your goals for next year and study that much harder in that category," Geiser noted.
