NOGALES, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Nogales is rolling at their Little League Intermediate Division West Regional.

The host team moved to 4-0 in pool play Sunday with a come-from-behind 7-6 win over El Dorado Hills, (Northern) California.

The game pitted the two remaining undefeated teams in Pool A.

Nogales starter Dustin Bermudez shook off a shaky first inning, where he allowed three runs, to settle down and allow his offense to rally. He finished with eight strikeouts.

The win put Nogales one step closer to the Wednesday’s single-elimination semifinals. The top two teams from each Pool advance. Noagles wraps up Pool play on Monday against Hawaii (3-1) at 5 p.m.

The Championship game is on Thursday with the winner advancing to the 50/70 World Series in Livermore, California.

In Pool B, the Tanque Verde All-Stars fell to 0-3 on the tournament with an 11-5 loss to Eagle River, Alaska. TV will wrap up play in the tournament Monday against Beaverton, Oregon at 7:30 p.m.

In the Intermediate Division, the mound is 50 feet from the plate and there are 70 feet between the bases. Slightly larger than the main Little League Division which is 46 (pitch)/64 (bases).
