We're hoping it's going to play itself out after the Lee County scrimmage game. Both of those guys are going to get a lot of snaps and how they're graded out after that particular game will determine who will be playing the first regular season game," Truitt says. "Whoever doesn't get it though, he can play receiver or somewhere for us."
Monroe opens the season at home on Saturday night, August 23 when they host the Perry Panthers at Hugh Mills Stadium.
