NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

North Charleston Police say they are searching for a 21-year-old in connection with a shooting Thursday on Midland Park Road.

Police named Jhamein Askia Robinson as a suspect in the shooting that left one person injured.

At 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, NCPD officers responded to the Midland Park Grocery on 2599 Midland Park Road for a reported shooting.

EMS responded to the scene to treat the victim, and he was transported to MUSC for treatment.

Investigators say after interviewing witnesses, they were initially looking for three males, however they now say Robinson is their only suspect.
