MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -
Suspending a player for a violation of team rules is nothing new for Tigers coach Josh Pastner, but on the heels of Kuran Iverson's suspension this week, word is he *may* be done at Memphis.
Pastner putting word out Tuesday Iverson would not travel with the team to Texas this week, adding that the Tigers swing man did nothing against the law, but the suspension was over internal matters.
Sources telling me Iverson has been a problem all season, and this week's suspension was the boiling over of tension between player and coach.
Iverson, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, has played in eight games this season and averaged 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds.
The Tigers play at SMU tomorrow night.
