Penny Hardaway's Hoopfest is a chance for Memphis schools to compete against some of the top teams in the country, and for Hamilton High - a chance to take down a national power in Oak Hill Academy (VA).
Led by the Lawson brothers, KJ and Dedric, who combined for 46 points, Hamilton beat Oak Hill Academy 87-76. Oak Hill is well known as the alma mater of dozens of NBA players, including stars like Carmelo Anthony and Rajon Rondo, and even current Memphis Grizzlies guard Jordan Adams.
Terrance Baker added 23 points and 11 rebounds to help Hamilton's cause. Oak Hill was ranked #3 in the country by ESPN, #1 by MaxPreps.
