Memphis Horns player Wayne Jackson hospitalized

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A world famous Memphis musician has been hospitalized.

Wayne Jackson, one half of the famous duo known as the Memphis Horns, is in intensive care recovering from congestive heart failure.

Jackson has been in the hospital for more than 24 hours, and doctors say they see encouraging signs.

The musician famously played trumpet while Andrew Love played saxophone for hundreds of mega hit songs for superstar acts since the 1970s.
