MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - WMC Action News 5 has learned just how many violations city inspectors found at one Raleigh Apartment complex.

Things at Austin Pointe Apartments in Raleigh got so bad, residents turned to WMC for help.

"They come out and spray for roaches, the bed bugs get bad. They come spray for bedbugs, the roaches get bad," said Regina Scott.

The story got the attention of the city's code enforcement office, who sent inspectors to the complex the following day.

Here's what they found:

- 18 units with obvious signs of roach infestation, violation notices were issued.

- 17 units had housing violations and/or defects, notices were issued

LEDIC Management, which took control of the complex on behalf of its owner in October, says $500 million in renovations were forthcoming.

The property will even get a new name in 2015, Huntington Hills Apartments.
