MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Falling debris from a Hickory Hill house sent a Memphis firefighter to the hospital.

The fire started around 2 p.m. in the 3800 block of Glencoe Drive.

Part of the house's ceiling fell on top of one firefighter as he worked to put out the flames.

He was taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries, but thankfully doctors expect him to be OK.

Investigators believe the fire started near the fireplace. No information is available yet on how much damage was done.
