MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Ten women are charged with selling sex near Shelby County schools and there may be even more arrests on Wednesday.

According to nine out of 10 affidavits, the women were picked up for soliciting sex near middle and elementary schools in Midtown and North Memphis.

This is at least the fifth undercover prostitution bust by Memphis police since October 2014.

Those busts happened in areas surrounding 10 Shelby County schools including Central, Melrose, Manassas, Northside, Central and Kingsbury High Schools, Humes and Treadwell Middle Schools, and Downtown, Brewster, and Dunbar Elementary Schools.

Those stings have netted nearly three dozen arrests, all of them only a mile and a half away from the campuses.

All 10 women were booked into Shelby County Jail on a $100 bond for prostitution near a church or school.
