MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Burned cars are the latest sequence of events in the life of a woman who says she just wanted to protect children at a daycare.
In September, Gwendolyn Morris shot video of a teacher biting a child after the child bit her, and pushing the child after the child pushed her. She says she reported it to Klassy Kids, but not to the state. Morris says she did call the Department Of Children's Services about the incident that she considered abusive.
"I don't know what's going on, but I'm very terrified," said Gwendolyn Morris. "I heard my neighbor screaming and hollering."
She says looked out the window and saw her car in flames, and her husband's car burning.
The daycare fired Morris Tuesday, and she believes it was because she contacted DCS .
"This is what I get for trying to protect innocent babies," Morris noted.
DCS says they are investigating the allegations and the police are investigating the fire bombing of her cars, including whether there is any connection to Morris' firing. An attorney for the daycare say they have done nothing wrong, and noted that Morris was allegedly fired for disruptive behavior.
