MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Good morning and TGIF!! So glad it's here! We're waiting for the warm temps this weekend, but just happy the weekend is upon. Let's get you ready for a fantastic Friday!!

Weather update:

It is once again in the 20s this morning, highs should be in the 40s later today with sunshine in the forecast. This weekend we should have temps in the 50s near 60 in some parts. We will break down your forecast for you this morning with Weather on the 5's every 10 mins on WMC.

Here are some of the top stories we're following:

1. An emotional plea for help answered one week after a dog was stolen from a couple visiting Memphis. In just a few hours Dixie the Dog will be reunited with her owners. We'll be live with what happened and the criminal charges one woman is facing.

2. Just days before the Mid-South and the rest of the nation honors Dr. Martin Luther King Junior, a Memphis sanitation worker, who walked with Dr. King during this sanitation strike of 1968, sits down with us, as the fight for civil rights continues..

3. The Memphis Grizzlies are in Orlando playing the first game of a back to back. We'll preview tonight's game and look ahead to the Grizzlies back Memphis tomorrow night verses Portland.
4. Wendy's is making their menu healthier for kids. It is the latest fast food change to take soda off the kids menu. We're talking about this morning
