MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - January 15 marked six years since the "Miracle on the Hudson," and on Saturday, hero captain Sully Sullenberger landed in Memphis.

Chesley "Captain Sully" Sullenberger successfully landed a US Airways flight in the Hudson River in 2009, saving all 155 passengers and crew aboard after a bird struck the plane.

Sullenberger is now a touring speaker and aviation and safety expert.

"There are still important steps that need to be taken and we can't lose focus. We must continue to do the best we know how to do because our passengers expect and deserve it," said Sullenberger.

Sullenberger also works on behalf of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which he calls his favorite charity.
