MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - WMC Action News 5 is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity and MX Performance Group for the 11th annual Home Team Huddle fundraiser during the Super Bowl.

Participants are asked to host a Super Bowl party on Feb. 1 and collect donations for Memphis Habitat for Humanity during halftime.

All proceeds will go straight to Memphis Habitat.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis creates sustainable, affordable home ownership opportunities for families in need in an effort to eliminate poverty housing. They also provide critical home repairs to low-income homeowners.

Top fundraising hosts will win several prizes. But the grand prize is two tickets to any regular season NFL game, plus a 2-night stay from Hilton Worldwide. Party guests are also eligible for the grand prize drawing

Party hosts who sign up by 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 receive a "Home Team Party Pack" including a Home Team Huddle t-shirt, a collection envelope, and party supplies for hosts.

"We want to make our 11th Home Team Huddle the most successful yet, so we're encouraging the community to get involved," said Memphis Habitat executive director Dwayne Spencer in a written statement. "There's no better way to enjoy the big game than to get together with family and friends while also helping Habitat serve more Memphis-area families-- a party with a purpose."
