Warrants issued for dognapping suspects

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Memphis Police Department issued warrants for the two men they believe were captured on surveillance video stealing a Yorkshire Terrier.

The men are identified as Tamgium Carr and Eugene Richmond, both of whom will be charged when they are captured.

Carr will be charged with burglary to wit: motor vehicle and theft of property over $500. Richmond will be charged with accessory after the fact to wit: burglary and theft of property over $500.

Surveillance video captured at China Inn on Elvis Presley Boulevard shows two men breaking into a car and stealing the dog inside. The dog was grabbed by the throat and tossed into the back of a getaway vehicle.

The dog's owners were inside the restaurant eating dinner.
