MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Blue lights are something neighbors say are becoming too common in the 3200 block of South Goodlett Street.
"I get sick and tired of seeing the blue lights for something bad," said neighbor Zesit Jones.
Monday night, police investigated a report of a shooting just yards away from the back of Sheffield High School.
One neighbor said she didn't hear gunfire, but she did hear a loud argument.
"I ran to look out the window to see what was going on because it was really loud," said the woman.
She says shortly after, she saw a young man knock on her neighbor's door asking for help.
"There was a young man that was holding his arm and crying," she explained.
The young man then went walking down the street.
Jones says this is just one of many other recent shootings, shootings he hopes are not connected to gang activity.
"Whatever you do, don't do it in my neighborhood," said Jones.
