MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - West Memphis police arrested a man accused of killing his roommate.
Sunday, West Memphis police went to investigate a reported fight in the 2400 block of East Barton Avenue. When they arrived, they found the victim, Justin Holloway, in the living room suffering from stab wounds. He died from his injuries soon after.
After an investigation, detectives named Julius Pulliam, 20, as a suspect. According to detectives, Pulliam and Holloway were roommates.
Monday, Pulliam went to the Crittenden County Circuit Court, where officers arrested him. He is charged with first-degree murder.
In a written statement, Chief Donald Oakes said, "It is always tragic when a young person's life is lost, but I am pleased with the excellent work done by our detective division and the quick order in which the suspect was taken in to custody."
