SHELBY COUNTY, TN (WMC) - Police arrested a woman after they say she set an SUV on fire at a home in the 4200 block of Lansdowne Drive early Monday morning.
Jessica Jones is charged with aggravated arson, attempted first-degree murder, and setting fire to personal property.
Before the fire, police say they were called to same Raleigh home several times on a domestic disturbance.
The woman who lives there with her children called police several times around 11 p.m. Sunday and said Jones was banging on her door demanding that her boyfriend come outside.
The victim claimed Jones had been harassing her. Police confirmed that an arrest warrant was previously issued to 27-year-old Jones for harassment.
Investigators took a report, left, and returned to the house less than five hours later to find the victim's SUV engulfed in flames.
Jones is being held at Shelby County Jail.
