MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The week came to an end with Memphis topping out just above 50 degrees with some sunshine. And temperatures will, again, reach the low 50s on Saturday and maybe on Sunday, even with our rain chances. But that is about as high as it gets the next seven days. In fact, temperatures may not get out of the 30s on Monday behind this weekend's system.
Expect rain to begin at or before sunrise Sunday, especially for our friends in eastern Arkansas. It will rain off and on all day with totals varying between a quarter and 0.75 inches across the Mid-South. If you have plans to be outside Sunday, you may have to wait until late evening to get much done. The NAM model is pointing to around one half inch in most spots.
Highs will only top out in the upper 30s on Monday behind the system with lows falling into the 20s. It will stay chilly most of next week.
