(WMC) - Tennessee Titans released 6-year veteran and Memphis native Michael Oher.
The offensive tackle played 11 games for the Titans before being placed on injured reserve with a toe injury.
Oher started those games at right tackle. He didn't play in the next two games and was placed on the injured reserve list on Dec. 13.
Oher was also the subject of film "The Blind Side," the story of how a local family helped him out of homelessness to become a first round NFL draft pick. He was a 4-year starter at Ole Miss before being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft.
