MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - You may be able to shed the jacket. Temperatures will push into the 60s this weekend thanks to a nice southerly wind and a good supply of sunshine. Most of the forecast models including the NAM model push us above 60 degrees by Saturday afternoon. Keep in mind, our average is 52 degrees for early February. Highs could reach as high as 64 degrees by Sunday in spots, so it we will be 10 degrees above average in most areas this weekend with overnight lows in the upper 30s Saturday morning and only in the upper 40s Sunday morning. The good news is that our heating units will get a break and that's always good in mid winter.
