1. Today your input is needed to help Shelby County School shape the future for students attending two schools in danger of closing. Lincoln Elementary students would be rezoned to A.B. Hill Elementary and South Side Middle students would be rezoned to Riverview K-8 School. Shelby County School leaders say it's to improve the quality of the students' education, but they won't make a final decision without input from the public. We have detail this morning.

2. Alabama is set Monday to become the 37th state where gays can legally wed, even as the state's chief justice has made an 11th hour attempt to put such weddings on hold. Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore sent a letter to probate judges Sunday night ordering them to refuse to issue same-sex marriage licenses. Moore told the judges they're not bound by a federal judge's recent ruling that overturned the state's ban on gay marriage.We have the latest this morning for you.

3. North Mississippi Congressman Alan Nunnelee will be laid to rest today. In his honor flags at state buildings have been ordered to remain at half-staff until sunset. The Congressman died Friday at the age of 56 after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and having a stroke last year.We'll have his funeral arraignments for you this morning.

4. A beloved Memphis boys basketball coach has died after a long battle with colon cancer. Before taking over at East High, Desmond Merriweather was a highly successful coach at Lester Middle School where with close friend Penny Hardaway he led the Lions to three state championships. We're talking about him and his legacy he leaves behind this morning.

5. It's a big day for Tennis lovers in the Bluff City. The first round of the Memphis Open gets underway this morning.Two-time defending champ Kei Nishikori  is the number-one seed for the tournament.
