The 38-13 Grizzlies take on former coach Lionel Hollins in his first game back to the Grindhouse since his contract wasn't renewed in 2013. The Nets check in at 21-30, but since they're in the East, they're second in their division.
C - Marc Gasol - 18.5 PPG, 8.1 RPG - Key stat - Teams assist rate goes up nearly a full percentage point with Gasol on the court.
PF - Zach Randolph - 16.8 PPG, 12.1 RPG - Key stat - ZBO is worth a team-leading +12 points per/100 possessions with his on/off court numbers.
SF - Jeff Green - 12.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG - Key stat - Green adds athleticism the Grizzlies haven't seen since Rudy Gay, oh and he made a game-winner against Phoenix on the road.
SG - Courtney Lee - 10.9 PPG, 46.0% from 3 - Key stat - Lee is 2nd in the NBA in 3 point percentage, behind only superhuman Kyle Korver.
PG - Mike Conley - 17.4 PPG, 5.4 APG - Key stat - All-Star snub had an efficient 21 points on 12 shots vs. top team Atlanta Sunday.
C - Mason Plumlee - 10.3 PPG, 6.8 RPG - Key stat - Played on the 2014 FIBA World Cup USA squad. Took job from Brook Lopez.
PF - Kevin Garnett - 6.9 PPG, 6.9 RPG - Key stat - Garnett joins Vince Carter as two of the top 5 oldest NBA players.
SF - Joe Johnson - 15.6 PPG, 4.5 RPG - Powerful three-man has a deadly post up game for a small forward.
SG - Alan Anderson - 6.4 PPG, 32.6% - Key stat - The Nets still have absolutely no idea who they want to start at SG. Anderson is the newest experiment.
PG - Jarrett Jack - 12.6 PPG, 5.1 APG - Key stat - Since taking over starting job for Deron Williams, Jack has been the Nets' best player.
The Nets have two starter quality players coming off the bench in Brook Lopez, a serious trade chip and Deron Williams. Lopez is an All-Star as recently as 2013 but has dealt with injuries. Same with Deron Williams, a three-time All-Star (2010-12).
Lionel Hollins returns to Memphis for the first time as an opposing coach. The Grizzlies are 1-0 against the Nets, but the win came at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Courtney Lee is still second in the league in three-point shooting percentage, but has been taking less shots with Jeff Green in the lineup.
